How to Install
- Log in to the WordPress Administration Panel.
- Select the Appearance panel, then Themes.
- Click Add New button
- Click Upload Theme.
- Locate
q-shop.zip / qshop-pro-addon.zipon your machine using the "Choose File" button. - Click "Install Now"
Required / Recommended Plugins
WooCommerce (Required Plugin)
- Download WooCommerce from the WordPress directory.
Using Contact Form 7 (Recommended Plugin)
- After installing Contact Form 7 go to Contact → Add New. Give your form a title, go to the mail tab to see if you are using the right email address and then click the save button. More information about the plugin can be found here: Docs
- Copy the generated shortcode, Paste it in your contact page.
MailChimp for WordPress (Recommended Plugin)

Making your form like the demo:
1. Copy the code below:

2. In the admin go to MC4WP > Form and paste the above code in the Form code field.
Home Page Setup
First you have to create the homepage.
- Add New Page: Go to pages and select "Add New".
- Give It A Title: Give the new page a title, Something like "Homepage".
- Template: From the Template drop down list select "Home Page".
- Publish: You are almost there, Now click the "Publish" button.
The last few steps.
- Settings: Go to "Reading".
- Static Page: Select the option illustrated in the image below.
- Front Page: Select the page you created above, I called my page "Homepage" (This is the title of the page you created above)
- Save Changes: Click the "Save Changes" button.
Customizer (Editing Theme)
After activating the theme go to Appearance → Customize or click the "Customize" button highlighted below, to start customizing the theme.
Site Identity
The Site Identity panel is first. All settings are explained below.
- Logo: Here you can upload your logo.
- Site Title: The name of your website, this will be used if no logo is uploaded. It is also used for SEO reasons, so give your site a title whether you have a logo or not.
- Tagline: Your site's tagline.
- Hero Section Logo: Upload a light logo to use in the hero section of the theme.
- Site Icon: Also known as a favicon, this is the small icon displayed in the browser tab.
Menus
The Menus panel is second. All settings are explained below.
Create a menu, give it a name and assign it to the "Main Navigation Menu" to display it in the header.
- Menu Name: The name you gave to your menu.
- Menu Location: Select where you would like this menu to be displayed.
Header
The Header panel is third. All settings are explained below.
- Announcement Bar Text: Enter text to display in the announcement bar at the top of the page.
- Header Search Form: Show or hide the search icon in the header.
- Sticky Header: This is for sticking the header to the top of the page while scrolling.
Basics
The Basics panel is fourth.
In the Basics panel you'll find the Design section. All settings are explained below.
- Post Page: You can choose the post page layout here.
- Accent Color: Pick a color to use for links and buttons.
- Heading Font: Choose a font for the headings.
- Heading Font Weight: Choose a font weight for the headings.
- Body Font: Choose a font for the body text.
- Buttons Font: Choose a font for the buttons.
- Buttons Font Weight: Choose a font weight for the buttons.
Hero Section
In the Basics panel you'll also find the Hero section. All settings are explained below.
- Hero Section (Layout): Select a layout for the hero section.
- Hero Background Image: Upload a background image for the hero.
- Hero Title: Enter title text for the hero section on the homepage.
- Hero Paragraph: Enter a short paragraph to display in the hero.
- Call To Action Text: Enter call to action text.
- Call To URL: Enter a link for use by the call to action button.
- Hero Layout 1 - Call To Action Image: Upload an image for the call to action container.
- Hero Layout 2 - Review Numbers: Enter your review numbers for the hero section.
- Hero Layout 3 - Hero Video: Upload a video for the hero section.
Shop Items Section
In the Basics panel you'll also find the Shop Items section. All settings are explained below.
- Section Title: A heading for the shop items section on the homepage.
- Section Subtitle: Enter a subtitle for the shop items section on the homepage.
- Featured Product 1: Select the first product to feature in this section.
- Featured Product 2: Select the second product to feature in this section.
- Featured Product 3: Select the third product to feature in this section.
Large Item Section
In the Basics panel you'll also find the Large Item Section. All settings are explained below.
- Large Featured Product: Pick one product to showcase in the large featured product section on the homepage.
Categories Section
In the Basics panel you'll also find the Categories Section. All settings are explained below.
- Section Title: Give the categories section a heading.
- Section Subtitle: Give the categories section heading a subtitle.
- Category 1: Select the first category to display in the categories section.
- Category 1 Cover Image: Select an image to display as the cover image for the first category.
- Category 2: Select the second category to display in the categories section.
- Category 2 Cover Image: Select an image to display as the cover image for the second category.
- Category 3: Select the third category to display in the categories section.
- Category 3 Cover Image: Select an image to display as the cover image for the third category.
Mailchimp Newsletter Section
In the Basics panel you'll also find the Mailchimp Newsletter Section. All settings are explained below.
- Newsletter Form Heading: Heading text for the newsletter form.
- Newsletter Form Paragraph: A paragraph displayed in the newsletter form.
- Newsletter Form Shortcode: Paste the newsletter shortcode you got from Mailchimp for page in the admin.
- Newsletter Form Image: Upload an image to decorate the subscription form.
Reviews Section
In the Basics panel you'll also find the Reviews Section. All settings are explained below.
- Section Title: Heading text for the reviews section.
- Section Subtitle: A subtitle for the heading in the reviews section.
- Select Reviews: Select six reviews to display in the reviews section of the homepage.
Blog Section
In the Basics panel you'll also find the Blog Section. All settings are explained below.
- Section Title: Heading text for the blog section.
- Section Subtitle: A subtitle for the heading in the blog section.
- Select Blog Posts: Select three blog posts to display in the blog section of the homepage.
FAQs Section
In the Basics panel you'll also find the FAQs Section. All settings are explained below.
- Section Title: Heading text for the FAQs section.
- FAQs: You can enter up to six frequently asked questions and their answers.
Gallery Section
In the Basics panel you'll also find the Gallery Section. All settings are explained below.
- Instagram Username: Enter your Instgram username.
- Instagram Link: A link to your Instagram page so users are taken there when they click the username or any photo in the gallery.
- Gallery Images: Upload five photos or select them from your gallery, these photos will be displayed in the gallery section on the homepage.
Footer
The Footer panel is fifth.
Footer Site Info
In the Footer panel you'll find the Footer Site Info section. All settings are explained below.
- Shipping Info: Enter your shipping info here.
- Checkout Security: Your secure checkout information.
- Support Info: Your support information.
- Quality Info: Product quality information.
Footer Payment Methods
In the Footer panel you'll find the Footer Payment Methods section. All settings are explained below.
- Payment Methods: Here you can check the supported payment methods to display the corresponding icon in the footer.
Copyrights Text Section
In the Footer panel you'll also find the Copyrights Text section. All settings are explained below.
- Copyrights Text Left: Copyrights text displayed on the left side of the footer.
- Copyrights Text Right: Copyrights text displayed on the right side of the footer.
Widgets
The Widgets Panel panel. All settings are explained below.
- Shop Widgets: Widgets displayed in the shop sidebar.
- Sidebar Widgets: Widgets displayed in the sidebar of all pages that have a sidebar.
- Hidden Sidebar Widgets: This is for widgets in the hidden sidebar, displayed when the burger menu icon in the header is clicked. The burger menu icon will not be displayed if no widgets are added to this section.
Homepage Settings
The Homepage Settings panel. All settings are explained below.
- Your homepage displays: Select a static page here if you want your homepage to look like the demo.
- Homepage: Select the homepage you created here if it's not selected already.
- Posts page: Select a page to display your posts (This is optional)
Additional CSS
The Additional CSS panel. All settings are explained below.
Additional CSS: You can add your own CSS code here.
- Q Shop Popular Posts: This is for displaying popular posts with thumbnails.
- Q Shop Recent Posts: This is for displaying recent posts with thumbnails.
